"In the fall of 2012, seven performers gathered to discuss how they could use their talents to benefit the community. The result was Muskoka Melody; a group dedicated to raising funds for local charities in Muskoka. Their first show, "Broadway Bravo" at The Rene Caisse Theatre in September 2013 was a sold out show that raised over $10,000 for The Children's Foundation of Muskoka. Buoyed by the success of this first performance, the members decided to put together a Rock n' Roll show celebrating the tunes of the 50's and 60's. Utilizing the talents of their singers, guitarists, keyboardist and drummer, the sold out show at the Port Carling Community Centre in June 2014, raised just over $11,500 for the Brock and Willa Wellness Centre.
Now Muskoka Melodies bring their talents to Huntsville to perform and raise funds for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Stroke Centre.
