Susan Aglukark Christmas Special

Join Susan Aglukark is one of Canada’s most unique and most honored artists for a very special Christmas Special. An Inuk from Arviat, Nunavut, Susan has performed across the country, and around the globe. She has recently released a Christmas album titled Dreaming of Home, which she will share with you this afternoon,

The concert will be a collection of uplifting contemporary seasonal favourites, a combination of traditional and contemporary music, sung in English and her mother tongue Inuktitut. Susan has re-recorded some Christmas traditionals like Silent Night and has also re-done one of her personal favourites Old Toy Trains.

Susan was inspired by the realization that for many of us Christmas is often celebrated away from home, away from loved ones, and coming to the place in our lives where “home is where the heart is, we can make where ever we are, home”.
