Huntsville Festival of the Arts Presents

"This year marks the 50th anniversary of WOODSTOCK. Join us as we celebrate the amazing music and performances from the concert that changed the world. Lance Anderson (who Festival audiences have seen in The Last Waltz and Mad Dogs & Englishman) has assembled an incredible cast of Canadian Blues and Roots all-stars for this show. Juno and Maples Blues Award winning Harrison Kennedy (Motown), Tony Springer (Wild T. and the Spirit), Matt Weidinger (Matchedash Parish) and Cheryl Lescom (Soulsville), will join an ensemble of some of Canada’s finest musicians. They will play the highlight moments of music from the 3-day long weekend festival, including iconic performances by Jimmy Hendrix, The WHO, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, The BAND, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Richie Havens and more! Dig out your tie dyes, and prepare to celebrate the music that inspired the world with the simple idea of Peace and Love for all!
