× “This very special second showing of ‘When Winnie Knew” is back by popular demand! This evening is the kick-off, and opening night of the Group of Seven Festival along with the conclusion of today’s “Off the Wall : En Plein Air” event. “When Winnie Knew” is an original live play based on Roy MacGregor’s book Northern Light: The Enduring Mystery of Tom Thomson and the Woman Who Loved Him, as adapted by Grant Nickalls. Join us at a red carpet soirée with cocktails and canapés, where you will have the unique opportunity to bid on very special and unique hand-painted, hand-crafted miniature replica canoes. These must have delicate canoes will have been painted and adorned by a selection of incredible local artists who have donated their time for the very worthy cause of local student art bursaries. This will be an unforgettable evening celebrating all things art and culture in our very special community!
